A motion by Stan Zabder and a second from Bill Bohn started the meeting at 7:30 PM with President John Artuso in the chair.  There were 29 members present.  Our paid up membership now stands at 40.

Doug Ireland gave treasurers report.  Dave Bittner made a donation to the field fund.  Thanks Dave! (EDITED)

Frank Jaerschky was introduced as a new member.  Frank belonged to the club from 1981-84 before moving overseas.  Welcome back Frank.

John called for two honest members to audit our books.  After a stunned silence it was decided that George Gurr and Rick Vidug were suitably honest.

It was decided that the mall show will be held at Willow West Mall on March 10th by a motion forwarded by George Gurr and seconded by Ron List.  Bill Hamer asked about getting display signs made up and Frank Jaerschky volunteered to produce them.  If you would like a sign describing your plane, helicopter, etc, please get in touch with Frank at blunosers@sympatico.ca 519-821-1375.

Rick Vidug was awarded the most improved flyer award.  Congratulations Rick.

Bruce Farr has hired a roller to do his property and has is willing to do our field as well if we help with the cost.  George Gurr will talk with Bruce and set up the details.

Rick Vidug asked about acquiring an updated phone list for the membership.  The list is not posted on the web page due to privacy concerns, however members can request it from Doug Ireland.

Anyone interested in participating in the following activities should get in touch with the relevant members.

The meeting adjourned at 7:57 PM with a motion from Paul Breckon, seconded by Doug Ireland.

Rick Vidug showed a short video on float flying.  So that’s what grass looks like.
