The meeting started at 7:30 PM and was closed at 7:47 on a motion by Frank Basso Sr, seconded by Bill Bohn. Approval of Minutes The minutes of the October 2000 meeting were approved on a motion by Stan Zabder, seconded by Frank Basso Sr. Elections It was reported that two members had agreed to stand for the positions of Vice President and Secretary. There was a motion to close nominations by Bill Hamer, seconded by Don LeBlanc. The new members of the executive are; David Hanson - Vice President Craig Skinner - Secretary Thanks to Peter Horoyski for acting as Nominating Committee and phoning the members to solicit interest. 50/50 Draw George Gurr won the 50/50 draw. Program of 2001 There was a discussion as to program events for 2001. Some of the topics suggested were: More programs at meetings (Bill Hamer) Visit/Tour of the Toyota plant in Cambridge (Don Coulman) Swap Shop (Kevin Scott) Mall Show - 2nd Saturday of Spring Break (John Artuso) Miscellaneous John Tonkovic reported on an incident at the Bramalea Flyers club, where a pilot was struck by his aircraft. Don LeBlanc gave a short talk after the business part of the meeting. |
